Terms of Service
The agreement between you and RobotParrot.
Last updated: July 3, 2026
RobotParrot ("RobotParrot," "we," "us," or "our") is a product of Bramble Tree Property, LLC, a Florida limited liability company based in Orlando, Florida. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the RobotParrot website, application, and services (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
In short. RobotParrot is an educational tool for licensed clinicians and trainees — not medical advice, not a medical device, and not a HIPAA-regulated service. Dictate each case de-identified, as if you were preparing a poster presentation or case report — never a patient's name, exact date, or facility. You must be a licensed clinician or trainee and at least 18.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account, recording a case, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. What RobotParrot is — and is not
RobotParrot turns a clinician's dictated, de-identified case into a personalized audio teaching lecture. It is an educational tool for licensed clinicians and medical trainees. It is not medical advice or a substitute for your own clinical judgment; not clinical decision support and not a medical device; not a medical record or system of record of any kind; and not a HIPAA-regulated service (see Section 4).
Lectures are generated by automated AI systems and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You are responsible for independently verifying any clinical content before relying on it, and for all patient-care decisions you make.
3. Eligibility
The Service is intended for licensed physicians, other licensed clinicians, and medical trainees, and you must be at least 18 years old to use it. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements. The Service is not directed to the general public or to consumers seeking medical care for themselves.
4. Not a HIPAA covered entity — your PHI responsibilities
RobotParrot is not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate, and we do not enter into business associate agreements. You are solely responsible for complying with your own institution's policies and with all laws governing protected health information ("PHI").
You agree that you will not submit identifiable patient information to the Service. Dictate each case de-identified — as if you were preparing a poster presentation or a published case report — and do not state a patient's name, initials, medical record number, exact dates of care, contact information, address, or the name of your facility, and avoid any detail that could reasonably identify a specific patient. The Service is designed so you never need to share an identifier, removes and generalizes identifiers before storage, and deletes your recording once your lecture is produced (see the Privacy Policy), but these safeguards do not relieve you of your obligation not to submit identifiable PHI in the first place.
5. Your account
Accounts are provisioned through our sign-in provider (Clerk). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Accounts are for a single individual and may not be shared. Notify us at hello@robotparrot.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit identifiable PHI, or content you do not have the right to submit;
- record more than one patient per case, or submit content that is not a genuine clinical case;
- use the Service to provide medical care to a specific patient or as clinical decision support;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, probe, or circumvent the Service, its usage limits, or its security;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written permission; or
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law or of your professional or institutional obligations.
We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms.
7. Credits, payments, and refunds
Access to lecture generation is metered by credits ("tokens"), which may be granted, purchased, or provided through promotional codes. One credit generates one lecture. If a lecture fails for a reason on our side, the credit is automatically returned. Except as required by law or as expressly stated, credits and any fees are non-refundable, have no cash value, and expire as described at the time of grant or purchase. If and when paid subscriptions are offered, the applicable pricing, billing cycle, and cancellation terms will be presented at purchase and will form part of these Terms.
8. Your content and how we use it
As between you and us, you retain your rights in the case you submit. You grant us a limited license to process your submission solely to operate and provide the Service — to transcribe it, de-identify and generalize it, generate your lecture, and support your account — and to keep the de-identified result as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your information and we do not use it to train third-party AI models. We may use aggregated or de-identified information to operate, secure, and improve the Service. Your rights to access, export, and delete your data are described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, prompts, content, branding, and the "RobotParrot" name and logo, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and the lectures it generates for your own professional education. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its outputs except as these Terms allow.
10. Privacy
Our handling of your information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. Please read it.
11. Medical and educational disclaimer
The Service is provided for educational purposes only. Content is generated by automated systems, is not reviewed by a licensed clinician before delivery to you, and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not reflect current guidelines. Nothing in the Service is medical advice. You must independently verify any clinical information and remain solely responsible for your clinical decisions and patient care. RobotParrot does not create a physician-patient relationship and is not a substitute for professional judgment, formal training, or primary sources.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IT GENERATES WILL BE ACCURATE OR CURRENT.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROBOTPARROT AND BRAMBLE TREE PROPERTY, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (b) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RobotParrot and Bramble Tree Property, LLC from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your submission of identifiable patient information in breach of Section 4.
15. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Lake County, Florida for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8–14) will survive.
